I love the humor but what made me love this even more IS the details AND the horror aspect. It's so well done because it isn't the main focus. From my own experience I can say there is some truth to this, of course lucid dreaming is a thing but the first ever time I became lucid in a dream (which was 3 years ago) I thought "this is a dream isn't it? Wake up!" and then I woke up. So basically, realising that you're having a dream won't wake you up, but thinking about waking up will.
