Clips & Soundtrack Of Wild Parakeets

Quaker parakeets are rare nest building parrots but you can barely see them with the naked eye and good footage is not plentiful online. I use a zoom lens so you can see them close up and clearly; how they interact and live their lives. This video was assembled with emphasis on the flashing of blue feathers of wing and tail which is difficult to see in person.

The birds originated in South American, from areas in and near Argentina. The little parrots escaped or were inadvertently released by the pet industry and have established feral parakeet colonies throughout the United States and Europe.
