Dude, the problem is HALL OF FAME!! Just play the damned game on Pro or All-Star or whatever. All "HALL OF FAME" is doing is making your teammates TRASH and the CPU good. Set sliders to whatever... make them THE SAME for USER and for the CPU and let the damned computer sort out its own shit. If people wanna talk garbage that OmG hEs nOt On hALL oF fAmE!!!! then let them. But you're not having any fun with this shit, and as somebody who has played too much of this garbage game myself... it's frustrating to watch somebody else sit there being frustrated the same way I've sat there being frustrated a million times.

Agreed. Nobody cares if you don’t play on HOF against CPU. It’s broken and sweaty AF. Like he said play one level down at least. You can test it out and see which you prefer, maybe mess w sliders. The games should be close and competitive, but on HOF the CPU shoots like 80% from 3, if there’s any daylight they barely miss at all, they finish at a crazy rate, good defense, etc. Meanwhile your CPU plays like they’re on rookie or something. It’s just silliness. I went on a crazy tangent/rant after this so read at your own risk 😂 It’s unfortunate 2K has a monopoly and they can keep putting out bad games that continue to go up in profit every year. I was looking at their sales meeting or w/e from like May ‘23, and I think they said they’d sold like 11M copies at that time of 2K23, and they had record VC sales. They obviously NEVER disclose the VC sales bc ppl would prolly throw up. I mean they’re selling 11M copies at idk how much per game…with all the different editions and stuff it’s prolly like $80-$90 on average. $70 for next gen, MJ version $100, then if you wanted both PS4 or XB1 and ability to upgrade that to PS5/XB S/X it was $80. Then championship edition was $150. Obv it costs more for those to sell bc they’re giving away a bunch of stuff, but they’re def profiting more too. So prolly $90 a copy on average is fair. That’s almost $1B in gross sales from just game sales in not even the full year. I can’t fathom how much they make in VC, bc it’s basically pure profit. Obviously 9 figures easy. 2K arcade is #1 in the Apple Arcade, and pretty sure there’s micro transactions on that too. They said 2.3M daily active users also. GTA V had sold 180M copies to that point, RedDead Redemption 2 53M copies, and they keep putting out new DLC, trilogy, remastered, whatever the hell for GTA along with some Rockstar premium membership program. It’s nuts. At least they somehow fell way short of expectations for 2K24 and arcade this time. Last year they had to cut a lot of costs bc they bought Zynga for $12.7B, this year they’re going to implement a similar “cost cutting program” that’s more extensive than last yr’s. So I’m expecting layoffs and more low paid ppl making the next 2K and it not being good lol. They do have the new GTA coming out by early ‘25 but still they somehow aren’t even making that much $ it’s kinda nuts. I just wish it wasn’t all about licenses now. Even if EA or some other company wanted to make an NBA game, idk if 2K has an exclusive license or what w NBA. That seems illegal af, but obv that company would have to pay an obscene amount to get the license from NBA. No reason two companies can’t have one. I’d love to have NBA street back, NFL street was amazing. TakeTwo is in a 7yr $1.1B deal with the NBA/NBPA for the rights which is p crazy. They agreed on that in January 2019….I assume that was for Fall ‘19 release and beyond. So after ‘25 it’ll run out? That means after 2K26 they’ll have to sign a new deal. That’s $157M+/yr. But they’re literally grossing $1B/y from purely game sales not counting the arcade game on mobile, and obv not VC. Without 2K and GTA these idiots would prolly be broke by now.
