Whenever anybody says Jill and Clive aren't the best couple I will raise them this video. They are absolutely, by far and wide, the best couple. Jill is perfect. Not bad for a bunch of devs who's on record for saying they don't know how to do romance. Not bad at all.

Meh... tidus /yuna romance is still my favorite one in FF franchise. hell I think Locke/Celes and cloud/aerith are done better, but yes their romance is not bad. I do however think that the clive /joshua sibling relationship was the best one in FF. And an uniquew one since there has been so few in the franchise.

@@arkblazer1 as tragic ad Cloud/Aerith was i cant call it a complete romance. They never got that far. Tidus/Yuna was awesome but they were teenagers that were on a time limit. Sure, Yuna gets her man in the end but throughout the two games we don't see them get older and mature unlike Clive and Jill. Clive and Jill's relationship started when they were 15 and 12/13. They were close back then and hit the ground running after 13 years apart, they never lost that spark. We see them battle both their demons and emerge victorious as they stand besides each other. We see then evolve from old flames to close friends to lovers. We see them both sacrifice for the other. We see them bare all they're weaknesses and still accept each other knowing their fates look bleak. I can't comment on Celes and co because I haven't played those games. Though I do agree Clive and Joshua's relationship is the best siblings in the series.

@@DarthPingu07 Still prefer tidus/yuna relationship. Clive and Jill felt more like a secondary thing while tidus and yuna was a courtship that went along the whole game. from friendship to romance. Jill/clive didn't feel as fleshed out.

@@kazutrash9841 Joshua is 27 or 28 by the end of the game, and Jill is about 2-3 yrs younger than Clive (so 30 or 31). Dion is to be a comparable age to Joshua's, as is Jote. So none of them are that young by the last section of the game. (Game starts with Clive as 15 yrs. Then 13 yrs later, Clive is an adult soldier of 28 yrs old. Then the jump of 5 yrs later with Clive as 33 yrs. [You can do the math for the others.])

Clive and I are pretty much the same type of person, born in the flames of fate and for too long trying to run away from the demons that have forever haunted us. But if there was 1 lesson to be taken from this game, it'd be screw fate...forge the path ahead with your own hands, and if those demons wanna drag you back to the depths you send them back to hell!
