Thank you so much, Max! That was really informative. Good to know an offshoot that size will not be blooming for a few years, like buying orchids, sometimes it's a long wait. These are quite spectacular blooms though! I do find some plants that require a dry period and/or cooler temperatures for blooming to be a bit tricky; I haven't rebloomed my Christmas cactus but managed to bloom my coelogyne Unchained Melody. @maxzytaruk8558 i think the stressing works on the Arabian jasmine. I've noticed if I forgot to water over a couple of weeks and then give it a good soaking, I'm rewarded with fragrant blooms to get me thru winter! Trial and error , lots of errors! 😄

@@jessypzytaruk95 It might be a similar naming situation for Natal Mahogany (Trichilia dregeana). Which by the way, makes a great houseplant as long as its substrate is consistently moist.
