Stockholm Syndrome is a funny/weird/unimaginable feeling that tricks your mind, but only to block and numb what events took place...NOT sure if you ever really remember every detail but it serves two purposes that contradict each other big time ...I Love this song..

Ok yeah. Now I get why the song, as good and upbeat as it is makes me tear up. Yeah, I suffered from The Stockholm Syndrome, and even though I'm well away from that situation it still hurts and is not gone yet. Fantastic song and video.

Stockholm Syndrome is nothing like what people probably think. +ADRI KLÈ Sums it up. "Actually, sympathy towards the captor (hostage shows sympathy towards the captor) is the Stockholm syndrome. Stockholm syndrome is named after the Norrmalmstorg robbery of Kreditbanken at Norrmalmstorg in Stockholm, Sweden, in which several bank employees were held hostage in a bank vault from August 23 to August 28, 1973, while their captors negotiated with police. During this standoff, the victims became emotionally attached to their captors. Stockholm syndrome can be seen as a form of traumatic bonding, which does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes “strong emotional ties that develop between two persons where one person intermittently harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other."
@jasminakarisik661810 жыл бұрын
