This is one of the best tutorials! Jess is clear and tone is informative, conversational and engaging. It doesn't feel like its read from a book or monotone. Well paced, not too fast and reiterates points to help information sink in. The progression and "chapters" are so organized. Would appreciate more like this!

Thanks for the tutorial! However I am struggling with making the seamlines more visible like in the video. I have the option 'show seamlines' on and the thickness and intensity is also fine. How can I make sure the seamlines are properly visible?

How do I add a crease along where pattern pieces join - from cut & sew. So that when I take to external programs there is geometry there to show the crease..? thanks Also, Im trying to render externally and the fold line along the neckline is very basic and has no smoothness to it, how do I increase geometry here in Close before exporting?
@CLO3D10 ай бұрын
Hi. Usually to show sewing relations you will need to export the UV normal maps. While we do not support other programs many other CLO designers have created tutorials that show how to export CLO to additional programs like Blender and how to do this. We recommend searching for those

Можно ли сделать в clo видео, чтобы аватар просто крутился на 360 и менять расположение камеры? Было бы здорово, чтобы не перекидывать в сторонний софт

Re - RIB or RIB KNIT advisory: This is really excellent, great teacher, but as a working menswear designer (20 years +) I feel you should explain RIB more clearly to viewers and subscribers as it relates to this instruction. Rib is a type of knit very commonly used for neck bindings and collars and in real garment construction of tee's and sweats (and sweaters) which allow for the functionality or the ability to be able to pull a top over your head (it stretches). This (unless I missed something??) was not explained. It would be uncommon and in many cases impossible to use body fabric on a sweat (Terry/ Fleece) as a neck binding (As you did in the demo) as it would not stretch enough. Apart from that a big thumbs up. CLO3D subscriber/user
