0:28 That's just wrong it still counts since it is a different calendar day 1:35 Other brands DID produce their own clocks, they just sucked hence why everyone used rubiks 1:50 In recent years, no sane people have called for the removal of clock besides one wca forum a while ago that was quickly disgarded This was a very poorly designed video with blatant misinformation. It's really dissapointing as you have serious potential if you just did a little more research and made factual videos.

1:53 thats just something different, the guy is putting up the debate of whether clock is a sprint event (which is basically the word for a very quick event, like 2x2 and pyra)

Nice vid and editing but tbh I don’t think it was sever in any danger of being removed. The people who wanted it gone were removed and the arguments for removing were always really bad imo

0:40 what if you decided to actually look at the regs or look on the WCA records page? You will see Carter still has the former WR, why? Again, look at the regs, it mentions nothing about 24 hours. Carter got his record on Saturday, and Eryk on Sunday. That is why Carter is able to keep his former WR. This is not the same situation as Keaton as the records happened on the same day, not day 1 for the first, then day 2 for the second Please thoroughly research your videos.

Even if the regs don't talk about it, if the sofware team makes the backend only recognise it after 24 hours, it will be that.

@@rodrigoqteixeira Fun Fact: Check the Records page, Carter’s record is on there, there is no “24 hour” stuff or anything.
