So very timely. I just cleaned up a similar New Haven movement and was surprised that it ran at all with such a worn pivot on the pallet. I might invest in some tools and fix that now so thanks.

Beautiful video. I see several videos where the bushings are placed in the ovalized holes in the sinkers of the pendulum clock or in the alarm clocks but I have always seen them put under pressure. Can you explain to me why in this case you made a soldering iron? And in case of replacement if over time the welding does not cause further damage during the removal of the old bush?
