The vernier looks the same as mine that came from Aldi, it calculates circumferences which I've never needed. I just found your channel, and like any skilled trade, the man doing it full time is the proper expert in the real world! Thanks for sharing a lot of trade secrets.I have been making and trying to repair clocks (400 day) for about five years in my great old age. (great meaning large in numbers)

I had a set of those screw retainer drivers. As you say very handy.

There handy for mounting the movement’s back in the case on mantel clocks, would love just to restore the older clocks but not there just yet not to far away though probably the next 12 months, one of my reasons for the tool reviews is to if possible help people who want to come into our fantastic Hobby/ industry make better choices with the tools in the market place as I have said car boot sales are a good source it’s sad but most of the new tools in the market place are poor quality as you will most definitely know.

Seig is the name on the lathe, Axminster Co, very small but ideal for Clock Repair.
