I can remember seeing an ad for this album several years ago, and I even once had the opportunity to buy it. When I went back for it, it was gone, and after a couple of years I forgot about it. Someone said something about it to me today, and I'm so grateful they did, as now I have a greater appreciation for music. And they reintroduced me to some very talented young women. :D

My mandarin teacher showed me this band when I was in high school in 2009. To this day it reminds me of her and her kind and beautiful soul. How she shared her culture and language to a school of predominately Chicano students on the south side of Chicago. Mrs. Zhao, I love and miss you 💕

Barbara Cataldo thank you. Unfortunately, I never was able to get I to contact with her since she left once I was a junior. Whenever our paths cross I want her to know I ended up studying Mandarin in university and how Chinese culture and language have been such an integral part of my life. 💕

This song triggers sweet nostalgia. It was in the playlist at a Chinese restaraunt I frequented 14 to 15 years ago. Nice Chinese family and cute waitress that I grew close with. The place closed down long ago and I miss it. I miss that sweet little waitress. I haven't seen her since we kissed goodbye this morning as I left for work. We married (12 years now) and we have 3 beautiful boys. I can't wait to go home and see them.
