Honestly I don't like the two halves of Kuruma Deus ex machina in the finale of Canon Naruto. 1. It invalidates the identity of Kuruma if he can be split into two functional individuals. 2. It invalidates Jinchuriki as a whole! If Biju can be divided between two people during the sealing, then repeating the process every time you have to reseal (a part of) a Biju. You can dilute the power and thus the threat of Biju/Jinchuriki after several generations. And no matter how much of a genius Minato was, he can't be the only one to see the advantage of splitting a Biju and try over the centuries!

And I want to apologize for how long this comment is, but I have another suggestion, what if Obito told Naruto about Itachi's top secret mission, and Naruto confronted him during the meeting they had in the woods after the Gaara retrievel arc and Itachi actually gives Naruto Shisiu's Mangekyo Sharingan, tells him to have Tsunade to implant it, and gives naruto a quick run down of how to use the Sharingan to his level in Tsukiyomi? So I'd say that maybe Itachi makes naruto spend a week or so in Tsukiyomi and learns how to harness the abilities of the Sharingan. And because of his stupid levels of stamina, naruto can go almost a whole day without showing signs of fatigue from using a Sharingan he can't deactivate. Unlike Kakashi, Naruto can use his new eye alot without it totally draining him. So if I'm not mistaken, that'd happen before the rasenshuriken training. It'd definitely happen before the Sage training. And I'd say that do to Naruto having a Mongekyo, he can learn Sage mode in half the time, and is at the very least on Jiraiya's level in Sage mode, when he fights Pain. Maybe Naruto was sent off with Jiraiya to learn Sage mode. And with him now being at the very least a mostly perfect Sage, him and Jiraiya go to investigate Pain. If you do decide to have naruto go with him to investigate the rumors in the rain village, it's totally up to you whether or not Jiraiya still looses his arm. But I'd say if you go that route, Jiraiya deffinetly survives. You can say he still gets his maturity boost Kishimoto gave him through Jiraiya's death, because he almost seen Jiraiya die, and that woke him up. Either way it'd be a interesting what if to see your thoughts on one day.

I simply wanted to know how you decide which plot holes to include in your stories? ---------------- @Clockwork Highlander. Why do you make Naruto weak in your What If's? How do you decide what to Nerf in your stories? Unlike Canon which applies the retroactive continuity of the Shadow Clone Jutsu's memory transfer only to Shippuden; You apply the Retcon to Part 1 of the series as well! Due to the nature of accumulate experience, Naruto would become ridiculously talented training with Shadow clones. (And physically strong due to his Bloodline Limit) Obviously, having an invincible protagonist doesn't usually make for an entertaining story. So what percentage Nerf have you applied when writing your "verbal fanfiction"?

So in their final year at the Academy all the students are taught the Shadow clone Jutsu. Of course only the Ninja born students have the Chakra reserves to maintain a clone, and these students attend "advanced courses" while their Shadow clones learn with the rest of the class. To everyone's surprise, Naruto can easily make Shadow clones and is put in the Advanced courses. Despite the extra schoolwork, Naruto is getting RECOGNIZED for his "awesomeness" and excitedly throws himself into the challenge.

The regular Sharingan was powerful enough to make a strong character like Ichigo into an epic warrior. (MS and EMS was just power leveling BS that Kishimoto added keep Sasuke an equivalent rival to Naruto when he started accessing Kurama Chakra Mode.)

Freddie Hull yes but he would have the mankyeko sharing an bc he would have one shishu eyes plus he have massive charka reserves in plus sage mode and the nine tails charka with all that he should be able to use shishu eye every hour at or 30mins at most

@@ware8229 1. How would Naruto get these eyes, 1 was stolen by Danzo and Itachi respectively. 2. Unless you change the "character" of Naruto significantly, he wouldn't want to brainwash people with those eyes. 3. This is clearly "crack" fiction, so I see it being a one-shot ,stress release What if?

Both Hinata and Sakura would be stronger than Canon! Hinata would be inspired to work harder to "walk beside Naruto" due to their proximity. Naruto unpredictably would cause Hinata to improvise more in teamwork, breaking the shackle that is Hyuga clan's stagnation. Sakura wouldn't become complacent with being on the same team as her crush, and would have a Jonin instructor that actually tries to help her get stronger. (Kakashi really was the reason Sakura was useless). Plus Kurenei is a Genjutsu expert, which we were teased that Sakura had potential in Genjutsu.

@@spider_fan_boi well I've seen (a now dead) what if series about Hinata being on Team 7. It didn't cover Sakura's changes, but I figured any Instructor would be better than Kakashi. (He is the inversion of "those that can't do, teach"; he is such a natural genius, he can't explain concepts to 'normal' people).

@@sheridanroad2001 yea, I kno which one, and also, I always thought kurensi would be the best since she would put her genjutsu prowess to good use. Then, rather than just sakura and a bit of ino, we could get hinata, sakura, and ino competing to be the best kunoichi of their class, and all of history. Give them better character development

@@spider_fan_boi If Sakura wasn't so lazy in Canon, her (supposed) intelligence and nearly perfect Chakra control would make her a candidate to learn Fuinjutsu. Far more likely than Naruto being a Sealing expert, unless we just accept Uzumakis' are innately capable of Fuinjutsu?
