This just feels like better great league. Funny how limitation breeds variety, but perhaps not if thought about critically. At any rate, I love this. Cool Pokemon, different pokemon-- reminds me of how good great league could be if they could buff/nerf/balance properly.

Hi Dan - and as you see skipping some matches now and then do not impact ELO too much, right? Because you will converge to ELO you belong to eventually anyway. I also do not play all sets every day when I dont have time or mood - I am not being crushed by super good players and I slowly crawl with people on my level and I am sure I will hit ELO 2800 or so eventually. Once I improve even more I will be able to hit Legend one day, but playing more games without energy to think and count did not help me. It was good for stardust tho :)

I've been getting a bunch of wins with lead Whiscash, Charjabug, and Decidueye. I've got blizzard on my set to surprise.

Lead Whiscash is so good for this cup. I'm using lead Whiscash/charjabug/Mandibuzz and it's been doing amazing for me so far. Struggles pretty hard to Guzzlord and altaria however.

Magneton isn't a bad choice. No other steel/electric type in the game has a bug move.

Playing against it I haven't found it to be that good. It loses the 1s and 2s against vigoroth because it's so slow to charge 💀 It feels like GWeez in the spring cup - good on paper, but tough to find consistent results *EDIT* commenter below is right based on sims. People running clod - only throw stone edge. You lose if you throw EQ

Idk what you're talking about. I haven't lost to a single Vigoroth yet and I've been Clod since the cup started. It's definitely a close match up but Clod wins every time in my anecdotal experience.

@@stonedsasqwatch checked the sims and you're right. For some reason all the ones I've faced have thrown EQs. Clod wins straight stone edge/sludge bomb. Been sitting around 2400/2500, so idk what they're doing lol
