I do having cyclone chocking problem.what are the key calculations to be done to choose a cyclone

Thank you for your question Mr.Krishnan. May I know, how often do you experience cyclone chocking? and what level of cyclones do chocking often occur? We can only explain from the process side, because we are not cyclone designers. There are several causes of cyclone chocking in cement factories, including: 1. From the mechanical effects: cyclone outlet damper stuck, dimensions of cyclone size (We recommend searching literature on new generation cyclone design), short calciner chamber and hot gas velocity more than 25 m/s (normal 19 - 21 m/s). 2. From the process side: material feed (LSF: 25% on 90 micron sieve, using rice husk as fuel), the calciner outlet temperature is >900 degrees Celsius continuously, the temperature inside the cyclone preheater is unstable. 3. And there are several other causes that require further research.

A very dangerous job.

Yes, it is very dangerous, because the temperature of the material is still around 800 oC. When working on material cleaning, safety procedures must be followed properly and require strict safety supervision.

@@parroscement2625 I performed and supervised this work. The fourth degree (cyclone) often becomes obstructed.
