Very qualitative talk. This is by-the-book separating reads from writes, applied in a business with demanding throughput and latency requirements. The case is cleanly made about leveraging modern cloud-native storage, rather than trying to build systems out of a model built for the era of expensive memory and disk space. It was also interesting to see that even though the change in paradigm is simple, deploying that change across such a massive system takes years - and still counting. Thanks!
