I just noticed something that knock off versions seems to have good joints than the original cause my version of this snapped when I'm moving the joints

Neca figures have a lot of joint problems i have broken a few in videos an there all real ones !! Its a shame to brake any figures 😔

That begs the question though: if a KO or Bootleg figure is exactly the same as the original or is even better, articulation-wise, then is the original the actual KO since its poorer quality?

I haven't had a poor quality ko in a long time I think they are made in the same place at the same time. I just reviewed the ko Santa strip gremlins figure an its perfect the Santa suite is great the KOs of old wouldn't have been that good an you can't get them in the uk till .......January !!!

The last segment of its legs are inverted from factory. Big problem in posing him. The ankles are up and the upper joint is at its ankles on both right & left legs. Ask for an exchange cause your copy is defective. Also: the head is designed to move up to form the dome. The crevice is to allow for posing the head not to leave it like that. Sorry about the factory defective bottom legs! 😔

I just think I will pack it away its just not a great figure compared to most of neca alien stuff

@@Returnoftherocketman Sorry to hear that. It's my favorite fig ever. I have multiple ones and I was lucky I guess because I'm very happy with how tight their joints are. No a single problem with mine.

I think its a cool design for a creature an i thought neca would knock it out the park i think i just got a bad one i will probably pick up another when I can have a look at it in the store.

@@Returnoftherocketman yes, that's a great idea. I highly recommend you buy it in person that way you can check for defects. Make sure you look that the legs are correctly put together. It really is a beautiful figure. Also: I saw you were having trouble attaching the stand to its base. You want to put a wee bit of hand cream around the edges of the 3 holes and insert the 3 prongs firmly. Good luck!

I have seen that there are those with a red belly only at the opening and not in the whole area. Are there two versions or is one of them fake?

There are two versions and sometimes the paint apps can be different between production runs

Thanks for the quick response! Do you also know maybe about the neca alien covenant creature pack? I have a kit whose coloring looks really awful in relation to what is seen on the internet and I can not verify originality or not. Is there an option on a particular platform to show you pictures if you know?

This is a disappointing figure. Had to laugh when you said you might need a stand to hold the stand for the figure. True, it will look amazing right at the back of any shelf! XD I didn’t mind the film. I do watch it from time to time. Although still not seen it as many times as the first 2!

Its not the worst film but it could have been better lol I like 3 more these days i grue into it but those first two will always be favorites and a big part of my life. I just moved my alien figures shelf round an it doesn't fit at the back now and I need a stand for the stands stand 🤣

I really like the design of the alien creature in the 4th film they have the perfect look more shiny and nasty ! An the "dog" alien from the 3rd film is my all time favorite look for the alien. An the newborn is a great creation very scary but i still always feel sorry for it at the end !!
