Basically, any futuristic thing that have soldiers with full helmets and guns suits this song well.

Depends on the sci-fi, it fits the clones, because they were outnumbered 10-1 at least. and it fits halo because a handful of spartans take on a covenant empire, the spartan's are also outnumbered but also at a technological disadvantage. it wouldn't fit Stormtroopers so well as they are the empire, top of the line technology, top of the line star ships, sub par star fighters and outnumber the rebels 5-1

I know this is an old comment but I have a few reasons. 1. The person who did all the clone voices tried to do each one differently to give them more of an identity. 2. A clone captain or commander would have a deeper voice as they would be older and would have to shout orders and be heard more whereas a shiny would have higher voices as they are younger. In other cases such as Hardcase it could be beacuse of birth defects.

No, stormtroopers aren't clonetroopers. Clonetroopers are more then just soldiers, they were brothers, marksmans, tough, and all round better at everything then the stormtroopers. Stormtroopers just rely on fear, determination (even if their morale was LOW).
