I think he survived. He was probably in a coma for a few days, but the helmet cracking shows that the helmet absorbed most of the blunt force. He probably had one nasty migraine when he woke up!

Third reason the crack is big but not wide, it's really short in width and the face is probably covered by shadows

Pretty sure it was blood. If the punch had enough force to crack the helmet then realistically there would be blood. Most likely from shards of the visor breaking the skin

@@chriswaddell5061 I screen recorded it and slowed it down through cap cut or whatever and if you really slow it down and look at the frames they are tiny chunks of the helmet. But I wish it was blood. Very rare to see blood in Star Wars
