"The game makes me lose!!!" "RNG is against me!" "I lost 20 games in a row!"
I've heard it all. Today, I'm telling you how to beat the system and raise your win rates. Believe it or not, there is a way. The game has changed a lot, and so have the players; however, the core mechanics have not, and that's how you will beat the noobs running around at tier 10. Pull up your pants and get to work!

I think the biggest issue these days is that the "average" player no longer exists anymore. There's no longer that "average joe" guy that wins, say, like 50/51% of their games and isn't the best but they're dependable enough to help you win matches. That "middle ground" made up a HUGE chunk of the playerbase ... I wanna say maybe 60-70%, if not more. Then you probably have around 20% of the remaining 30% being made up of below-average to VERY bad players and the final 10% being within the good-to-super unicum range. The middle ground that consisted of the joe average player was a massive reason why gameplay felt more balanced in years's past. But since Mercenaries, that middle ground began to shrink, and now, especially since 6.0, that middle ground has pretty much completely collapsed over the last 3 years or so. Now, all you have left are the below average to VERY bad players and the very, very few try-harding unicums and super-unicums who are still playing this game. Even worse, that segment of below average to VERY bad players has gone from making up around 20% of the playerbase to almost 70%, if not higher (possibly being 80% or more). My point is, the average player has gotten far, far worse, thus making the impact of an experienced player in a match all the more potentially devastating. Platoons of experienced players these days ... even just 3-man platoons ... can absolutely ruin games now. All it takes is 2 or 3 players on the enemy team that know what they're going, and if you're the only player on your team that has a ounce of competence, you're screwed. It completely ruins the balance of gameplay. I've seen games lost pretty much within the first 30 seconds because your team's light tank goes to the wrong place on the map while the enemy light tank makes the right moves, spotting where he needs to spot ... it's that simple. And it's that bad. That's all it takes for steamroll games to occur now. It has become practically impossible to carry these current teams, and teams collapse so shockingly fast that you're unable to react in time in order to fight back. The average match now no longer even lasts beyond 3 to 3 1/2 minutes and every 8 out of 10 games you're losing by 10 tanks or more. A combination of the majority of the playerbase being made up of simply horrific players, the Season Passes allowing noobs more unrestricted access to tiers 8-10 than ever before, and the awful YOLO-rush hyper-aggressive meta of Cold War seeping its way into WW2 over the past 3 years has made gameplay devolve to its lowest levels ever, and it's only getting worse. Knowing and mastering the game's mechanics can only get you so far now ... if the game wants you to lose, you will. Plus, winning and losing streaks have gotten far, far more drastic as well.

I'm a top 1% Super Uni, but my average winrate has been 33% recently, despite me coming top on my team virtually every game, it's not my playstyle, hence me coming top every game, it's the teams you are paired up with; like you said that 30% of the players are bad which is who are put on my team, within 3 minutes I usually lose 50% of my team whilst the enemy maybe has lost 1. Some people just don't understand that it is impossible to win most of the time as it's mostly rng/luck based as to who you get on your team.

I agree with the platoons thing, when I play with my clan mates, we are winning 8/10. We balance out the team composition (at least one of us is light) or we go big guns. Once we were playing in 3 avre's and all of us came top. We oblitereated 10 tanks together on a flank and did half of the team's damage. There is no way you can stand 3 hesh's being fired at you at once.

The game shits on you when it shits on you. It does it for streaks. Sometimes, you can pull off a solo clutch or just you and one other player who didn't fall asleep or forget their brain cells, but those do not happen in streaks. Sometimes, it makes you overly cautious so your team rolls over the enemy, but you hardly had the speed/time/rng to make any impact.

All good points but how do you have time to employ your knowledge and experience in a game - that regularly happens - where 8-10 of your teammates, or the enemy team, are killed within the first couple of minutes and the game is over in 3 to 4 minutes?

The second map you are on the fact that there was no artillery was amazing. Reason being is that I occasionally play artillery and I know that you can blow up that corner. They can never go around there without getting shot to pieces. When arty is in the game that corner will generally stagnate. That's just my exp.

This highlights what I tell others - the game is sold as if there's magic tanks or OP tanks that make players better, but no tsank can improve a player if they don't actually know how to play. It seems a simple enough game on the surface but there is actually a lot of things to master or at least, be aware of. Great video CG.

Great video CG., over the years I/we all been having problems with game mechanics and times big server issues.., I always enjoy Space's reviews and topics., as well as yours. I am working on Tusk op, now on stage 6 after buying out stage 5 when I had 4/8 spotting asst of my tanks health points; numerous times i was kicked back to home page, and 8 LT's per team in era 1., I'm happy with 5 LT's per team, i don't enjoy too manic brief gaming.. In my 110 last 3 days I had many plus 2 games in stock tier 8., if I was using my Pershing I would been happier and looking forward to the games and using that good tank! But as having often 50% tier 8's and 50% tier 10's or much worse match making I do leave game especially in 110 (though I do like the tank) I rather get in with xp earning for tusk contract than very little to know xp earning in plus 2 games.. When I did have one tier 8 and 6 game other day was a steam roll in just over 3 minutes.. For me i have not experienced ghost shells poor rng in CW, I used to be very frustrated with the op fv4005, but thankfully it's not so op these days with newer TD's in era 1, and me using fv101 if i had better accuracy I will be enjoying snap shooting TD's as like we do in WW2.. Take care CG many thanks for yr content and help🙏💪💪👍 Just now Thursday night I in 110 1st game, and plus 2 game on Highway I cared to persevere., I did now decide purchase 2nd gun though reluctant as got 40k to the 122mm. My team couldn't move as we had town side hull down on ridge know one pushed the town and had enemy up in our face, again I quitted b4 I died as again I get little xp, this is not ever comfortable for me to try to persevere, though i do know how to grim and bare and persevere well when I hope I get a fairer game, if I don't believe fully so I'm out... Rare I get my response/reaction wrong happened few times over my nine years, more often my perception in what I say get out of game was spot on.. My team did loose this highway game, and I tried, but expected out loose.., and game after game minis silver. On to next one see again.. 2nd plus 2 game in 110 tonight I left quick couldn't be asked on malinovka as I expect very low xp earn

Yes the meta has changed, yesterday I consistently did 5k to 8 k damage in several T X TDs. And 2k-3k in T 8-10 lights. But, as you said, I applied my 8 years knowledge of the game. I maxed out for cammo, spotting, dpm and accuraccy, in that order. Some of the lights are maxed out for speed, I get to 83 kmh in the vanguard, try hitting that :). I am sniping lights on prok in my sh*t barn and I stay undetected for most of the game, which is a hard feat to achieve.

To me good matching game besides equal power tank types is players with equal experience. Most the matches I've been in have not been balanced in that sense. I'll place in at least in the top 5, while the other team wins with at leat 10 tanks sill alive. The rest of my team is destroyed. And often!

"My win rate is still amazing, you just have to play smart!!" very next breath, "sorry I'm rusty guys I haven't played this game in forever". Go try your smart play style in Era2 or 3. Era 3 heavies outrun the light tanks and yolo in wolf packs, and no amount of smarts saves you from 5 heavies and 2 mediums ramming you to death. Era2 matches sometimes have 7 light tanks that swarm and bounce shells from heavies. you can play as smart as you like but when you play that time of day when the kiddies come on in numbers and they all have top level tanks and yolo in numbers, there is nothing you can do. it took me 4 hours of playing to win 2 games in a row to complete a season challenge. win 1, 14-0 loss on the next game, for 4 hours. it's hard to not take that personally. the matchmaking and RNG are smoking crack together.

I don't know a lot about all the bouncing and ghost shells, but this is what I have learned after years of playing, a 51-52% win rate, and watching A LOT of GOOD players. 1. Don't get spotted. 2. If spotted, don't get shot. 3. Learn the strengths and weaknesses of your tank and hopefully the enemy. At least learn the basics of where most tanks are armored-soft in back and side, hard in front, shoot lower plate, etc., and angle your tank. 4. Learn the maps as best as you can. 5. Take the shot. 6. NOBODY posts videos showing how they got spotted, got shat on and sent back to the garage in the first 30 seconds. You are seeing cherry picked games most of the time. The big boys die too, (not as often) and you are probably not one of the big boys. We regular Joes are going to die - often and a lot. Adjust your expectations to match up with reality. While there are principles (mechanics) of the game that always apply to some degree, you cannot play all the maps and all the tanks the exact same way. If you can't adapt to the way a specific game is playing out, the difference between playing a heavy or a light, or when WG changes the rules, you're just cannon fodder. Maybe the game is "rigged", but you can do a lot of things to maximize how long you survive and how well you do. Thanks for taking this on, Clone. I share Space Bandit's frustration but am often my own worst enemy.

I agree with most of your comment but it’s hard to play well as you line up the perfect shot only to get screwed once again by rng. It’s the game however, 9 years of playing and it is the same old story. Free to play but pay to win is probably the best analysis of it.

Omg. The problem is the rng range sticks with you and your whole team the whole game. Not saying I've never had games where I hit consistently, but I think the accuracy rng is the most bizarre idea they came up with. No gun ever deviated ever to the scale this game does it. Drop maybe, but the game does not really worry about that instead opting for shots to go almost 90 degrees out of the barrel.

Looks like someone was benefiting from contributors and commentators special algorithm for successful gameplay. Anybody that's experienced knows how to use their detection circle and their spotting circle. How do you explain tanks disappearing while they're in view range driving across open ground and then reappearing once they get to cover. All the while they're a one shot that should be removed from the map but because you have to try to blind fire and Miss they come around shoot you in the back side and light you on fire. How do you explain driving in a light tank doing 92 kph and somebody snapshotting you from 500 m while catching your tank on fire in eliminating you from the match. These are the things that happen when you have the algorithm stacked against you. The 10 to 20 game losing streaks are not a result of bad gameplay or not understanding how the game works/mechanics. It's the inability to overcome the program number generator that determines who wins and losses. The anti-seal clubbing mechanism that benefits new players. It doesn't explain the fact that they are able to manipulate the bot mechanic to give the bots better RNG/program number generator than the actual player. If wargaming can adjust the bot mechanic then they can adjust new player mechanics or any other metric in the game. If you play Cold War the bots can shoot through the smoke and hit you and penetrate you no problem. Normal players cannot see through the smoke and successfully do that. Rigged matchmaking rig RNG and rigged out comes. By the way if most players drove into the middle of the map like you did in your first game. Most of us would be destroyed because of a yolo light tank that spots Us in the TDs on the hill you just get lucky because of your preferential algorithms. I'm not saying that you're aware of it but I am saying that wargaming is not going to have somebody commentating on their game that doesn't represent their game well. They know who you are and have a vested interest to make your channel look great. 😂 I'm not hating on you but it's a little bit arrogant for you to come up with a small sample size and say see no problems here. I know that you've played a lot of games and I'm not sure how 70% win ratio is possible unless it's server aided. I just don't see your ability to carry that many matches without preferential treatment by the servers. Many matches now are decided in the first 2 minutes. You'll have five or six of your tanks on your team go down quickly and then attrition happens shortly after where you lose the majority of the tanks on your team relatively fast. Soon becoming a five against 12 match after the lemming train has been destroyed. This makes it very difficult for a skilled player to overcome the sheer numbers. It might result in a high damage game but certainly not a win. I don't see you having clutch games coming back from a 5 to 12 or 15 tank deficit. I watched a lot of your gameplay and typically you're on the winning side of the server without having to deal with these huge disparities in tank numbers. The game is rigged. It's always been rigged it's just more obvious than ever now. Have fun

@@CloneGuy I truly like what you do for the game clone. This is not any disparagement on you. I've actually learned a lot from your experiences in the game. I watched your videos quite a bit to become a better player. When I play regularly my 30-day WN8 hovers around 1900 to 2600 depending on the type of tank I play. This is directly because of some of the tips that I've learned from you. With all that said I still think wargaming has the algorithm that punishes skill and assist those who do not have skill. They consider this balancing the game. This is all designed to drive players to the paywall to buy tanks either through excitement or sheer frustration. Like I said if they can manipulate the algorithm of the bots then they can manipulate any algorithm in the game. I'm just not sticking around for it anymore because I'm tired of getting punished. It really is a skill issue that the new players have. The monetization of the game is bad and the more money you throw at the game the faster you can get to higher tiers which is why some higher tier plays are about garbage. I’m not a pro player by any means but I understand the game well enough after 10 years of play to know that you just have to study up on your game knowledge and get better. I was a sub 45% win rate player for years and in The last couple years I’m now almost 52% win rate, in the new meta. He’s not blowing smoke he’s just saying what’s obviously true. You have THINK about what you’re are doing and why and pay attention to your map and you will automatically start winning more just based on that. You will naturally get better by studying the armor profiles of vehicles you have consistent problems both with and or against and find weak points. Learn the differences between ammunition types and know when to use a premium round(when necessary!) and when not to and when to use HE rounds and so on. This doesn’t just happen over night though. I’ve been consistently improving over the last couple of years to raise my overall winning percentage and damage output. It’s gonna take sometime to learn and apply that knowledge consistently. Also, map knowledge is key too, but again it’s gonna take time to learn. And again I’m not an expert player I’m above average but not pro feel free to look me up @ Zealotkalps on Xbox

Honestly even if you are the best player to ever exist you would still only have around a 10% impact on the outcome of the game, these games shown are just RNG/Luck; nothing more. The only real way you are going to win the games are due to your team, if you have a bad team (like 80%) of my games, no matter what you do you can't win since most of your team die in the first 3 minutes leaving your remainder of a team to try and fight all the enemy which is nearly impossible. So it's literally all due to who is in you team. For these games shown almost all the games the enemy team were seperated/yolo'd which is what my team do most of the time, then good luck trying to face 14 tanks when there are only 6 of you left. So all Luck based.

I don’t know if you look at your own replays lately on the game’s replay server, but it’s a habit for me especially on a good game where I dominate. I like to watch because I want to see everyone’s thought process during the battle and noticed the majority of the players don’t even use sixth sense. I assume it’s new players because the perk system was completely changed when 6.0 was introduced. Do a video on that. You switching between tanks during a replay. The numbers of players not using sixth sense is staggering and I bet it’s due to ignorance of what perks matter.

I’ve never cared what the cc’s say anyways. When I first started playing about 9 years ago l listened to the cc’s as they showed games where a particular tank they were “selling” was amazing, blocking shots, unbelievable accuracy, etc. I thought hey that’s what l need, a better tank, only to buy it and watch as it was literally destroyed by anyone shooting at it and I couldn’t pen anyone. This happened a couple of times and I went my goodness this must be a rigged game using these cc’s as the promoters. Don’t know for sure but the game still smells fishy imo.
