To be fair, it is a super battle droid with very few weak points. Regular battle droids have weak spots on their joints and neck (you can see that when Rex and the other clones punch droids in the same scene that their heads spin around/fall off). A super battle droid is built like a refrigerator, I feel like most human characters would lose in a fistfight with one, XD

That one guy did it wrong. I think the way to punch a droid with minimum in Clone armour is a hook from the side, missing just enough so that just your glove or vanbrace gets shoved along the droids armour. That way your hands won't get damaged while delivering the maximum amount of damage.

My head cannon is that so many clones were attempting to punch droids that they firgured out how to make it work with phase one armor and that they just added better protection for the hands as the war went on to facilitate proper droid punching.

Punching a Droid is about technique. Don't be like that one clone and break something then get shot. Use your weight, use the Droid's engineering against them. Use proper body mechanics when hitting something hard (aka, sometimes it's more like a shove than a punch). And only resort to it if it's either completely nessisarry or you just want to dis on them.
