Clontuskert at World Robot Olympiad 2024

Congratulations to Clontuskert’s Senior Robotics Teams who win three Awards at the World Robot Olympiad for Breakthrough, Innovation and Best Project.
The WRO was sponsored by Pat and Mary Howley who were in attendance with the Howley family. Pat, a former math teacher in St. Mary’s in Galway was one of the first teachers in Ireland to teach coding. The Pat Howley Awards at World Robot Olympiad are a fitting tribute to his legacy. The WRO in Ireland is run by Camden Education Trust.
Well done to Clontuskert’s engineers and coders and thanks to Mr. Gohery, Ms. Brunnbauer and Mrs. Murray for prepping the teams and to all the parents who drove and supported.
