I haven't read the actual music, but I know the ending can have many interpretations and harmony notes. It's how the singers make the song their own. Lee's interpretation has changed over the year, but he usually starts an octave higher at "land of our own" part at the end and stays up there while some singers start an octave lower and then sing up to the higher register to end on "own".

Non of the professionals Joseph’s are bad. They are all are amazing in their own right so it’s hard to compare them against one another. Each of them sing with power and emotion and perform with such integrity. I’ve been such a lover of this musical from such a young age of about 3 and I’m almost 18 and I can still say I love it so so much❤️

@gumbetgirl2010 He puts passion in in a different way - anger. This is a much more subtle version - it's not necesarily as big vocally, but you can hear that the way he's portraying it is very angrily, which I think works really well.

I'm fairly deaf, so vocals are not the most important thing for me to like a performance. I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but I've seen professional actors get roles based solely on their singing talent, acting pushed to the side. This isn't that, my heart is breaking for him in this moment. I don't care how well he sings (going off comments he seems to be singing really well), this is a spectacular performance.

Meh....I dunno. in my humble opinion, it looks like he's straining. Osmond has a better singing voice. Saw him live and it was quite moving. I wouldn't say this is te best Joseph ever....he ain't bad though. ;-)
