This is extraordinarily beautiful. The glide in "my" at 2:10 sent shivers down my spine. An angelic performance.

I came across this video tonight while watching clips from "Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" and am so glad I did and look forward to hearing more of your music. (Heading over to "Hallelujah" after I post this. Donny Osmond is American and pronounces certain words as we do in the U.S. OTOH, Lee Mead (very close to 1st as my first in "Josephs," although it might be a tie between Lee and Donny - both fabulous. Anyway....I'm assuming Lee Mead is British, thus certain words in the song are pronounced as in England. The words that come to mind pronounced differently include "answer," "person," "laugh," and maybe a few others. This also makes sense (DUH!) and I love how the British speak - seems more refined. I spent a month in Ireland and that accent took some time to get used to, especially if people were speaking quickly but I also love the lilt in their tones. Understanding a Scott gets a little trickier but the one neither my two friends nor I could figure out was a strong Cockney accent from the front desk at our hotel. After his first sentence, the three of us are looking at each other in dismay whispering, "Do you understand ANYTHING he's saying?" We were only 19 and embarrassed. We asked if he could repeat what he said (he apparently understood us) and said the same jumble of sound we so desperately tried to put together. He handed the keys to us and indicated the stairs so we sheepishly thanked him, found our room and prayed someone with whom we could converse would be there on check out day.) I spoke to an online French friend recently and he said he travels much of the world and, although he speaks (or types) excellent English he said he's gotten in those type of situations in taxis and solved it with always carrying a notepad and pen in public. Ahhhhhh...great tip! You're probably wondering what I'm going on about but here's my conundrum based on my examples of Donny & Lee above: When you speak you sound British but when you sing this song you sound American and don't pronounce any of the words I mentioned in the song with the British accent. I spend way too much time by myself so I go off on extended searches when something catches my attention...lol. (I should probably go and read your bio.) I hope you don't take this the wrong way - I love all different accents; just sitting here thinking - "Now how does Mr. Hadfield speak with a British accent but doesn't when he sings." Thank you so very much for this song and others to which I plan to listen. It's been a very sad three years in my life so I search YT to find something to cheer me up and, although it's the middle of summer - your singing GREATLY helped!! God bless you.
