Ken added: "One of the sharks made a run at the tuna bait tied onto a tooth-safe rope with no hook and ended up on a collision course with the cage we were in. "The shark hit its nose on one of the crossbars which is a good thing because otherwise, it would have been in that diver's face, who didn't have the reflexes to move. "We are very disappointed that no one can go dive with great whites at Guadalupe and I hope that the government changes their mind."

Maybe I'm listening to the wrong circle of people, but isn't it looked down upon to bait sharks for viewing? I'm not a marine biologist, but I'm pretty sure doing anything that would change or affect the sharks normal behaviors is an iffy spot to be in. I know sharks aren't savage monsters, but they are animals, pretty big ones at that. And it almost was directly in the face of one of the divers mid-feeding, a perfect example of how they could accidentally do some life changing stuff to someone.

Looks more like he we lnt for the bait, had momentary disorientation not expecting a huge cage to be in front on his way down and tried to turn. As opposed to 'Charging'. But who knows

I enjoy what you do but I can’t help thinking why taunt the sharks by having bait in the water and putting yourself in harm’s way? Sure you’re in a cage and that’s a measure of safety. However there have been several times that what I’m saying has happened so I stand by my question.
