I created my first ecosphere (it’s saltwater). So far I have noticed two microcrustaceans, three snails, and two starfish. It’s so cool.

Hi, I subscribed. Loved to see you make this one. What I really want to see is how it progresses. But since clams need a lot of moving water to filter out the tiny things they eat I think your clam is going to starve to death slowly. But I really want to see how your ecosystems in jars progress.

I can already tell this one is going to be snail heavy.

Absolutely! Lots of snails!

What kind of snail is that? The dark blue orange ringed one?
@jarplanet2 жыл бұрын
No idea! I couldn’t find anything on them in a google search.

@@jarplanet I'm guessing it's an 'arkansas mudalia' but that color pattern is AMAZING. Would absolutely love to have some in my aquariums!

Lol I thought the same thing! You could always take a trip to White River in Arkansas

I made one with salt water but sadly the water turned black? So I threw it away. I’m still not entirely sure what happened but maybe I’ll try again due to seeing this vid. :)

Yeah, give it another try! The ocean ecospheres seem to give people the most trouble. I’ve been doing some experiments on them recently. Best of luck to you!!

I wish i was in The US because i wanna make a terrarium
@jarplanet2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, in some countries you can’t take wild plants and animals as “pets”. Not sure what is available to you, but a hardware start may have the necessary plants and soil to make a terrarium.

You came up with the self sustaining ecosphear idea? 😂

No, my brother got me into it several years. Not sure where he got it from.

I subscribed for now but I may change my mind. I get a weird feeling from your channel like it might a soulless cash grab. Prove me wrong in the future, or not. Talking about making jars for years but all your jars look brand new and you only just started the videos. We will see what the future holds for this channel

Subscribe, don’t subscribe, up to you my friend! I did post a video about my 3 year old ecosphere a few weeks ago. I wanted to start over with the channel tho. If you have any suggestions to make my channel more genuine, I’d love to hear it!

lmao step off your high horse please - wtf. how is this soulless, and also how are ecosphere videos a cashgrab
