hi, can you mention why there is a summing block (++) in the beginning though there is a comparator(+-) at the end.

Why is the value of Integral taken as 4 times the switching frequency? And what is the difference between setting reset end as rising or falling?

That's how it's approximated, and use scope for the trigger pulses to see how it works, hope this helps 🙂

Sir , if i want to use Power GUI as Discrete, will it work? how can I do this?

You can double click on Powergui block and change setting to discrete, hope this helps 😁

Hello Sir. I wanted to discuss about a project that I am currently working on. It is related to the Voltage and Current Control of Buck-Boost Converter using PID. I am not able to get the desired output. How can I get in touch regarding the same? I am not able to decide the values of repeating sequence and saturation blocks in the controller. Please help.

Can I contact you regarding my ongoing project? Perhaps you can help me with it. I am short of time. I am basically replicating an already proposed controller but unable to get the desired result. There is a research paper already published on the same.

Sir I simulated a bridge rectifier for 230V. It gives and output of 228.4V. Then I simulated a DC-DC Converter for 230V-60V using DC source of 230V as input. But when I removed the DC source and used the rectifier output of the rectifier as the input to the DC-DC Converter then output voltage of rectifier becomes 180V with 10V fluctuations and output of DC-DC Converter becomes negative. Can you please explain what the issue could be.

We value each and every subscriber of ours very much and we will respond,that's our policy 😁 DC-DC converters have inductors and Capacitors that charge and discharge, you'll see variations in your circuits due to this. To minimise this you should design your circuit properly. The reason why you're getting a lower output voltage is because of voltage drops in the circuit ie. across the switch and diode

@@TheUrbanScholar Sir it works fine individually. Like if I use a 230V DC source the conversion to 60V is OK. Even a 1000V DC source will only produce 60V in a closed loop. But when I replace the 230V DC Source with the rectified voltage of 230V the problem occurs. If it works individually then could the design be wrong?

You can't cascade two individual things like that.
