I have many favorites depending on the time of year, the yarn and if it's a gift. Right now, I love crocheting amigurumi skunks, then I'll crochet some octopi and dragons foe the nonprofit group cancer kicking critters. P.S. Another favorite is crocheting baby blankets out of Bernat Blanet Yarn. The yarn is soft, machine washable and feels like a weighted blanket.

I think blankets are my favorite type of crochet project, at least for the process. I do like making amigurumi, but I don't enjoy the process as much as the finished object. I would love a swift! I always just use the back of a chair to unwind skeins of yarn and a swift would save a lot of time and irritation.

I've always loved making baby blankets, sweaters and caps as gifts. At my age though those gifts are getting further apart. I've made some sets for crisis pregnancies when Ilived in Nashville. We have a women's shelter for domestic safety and a Covenant House for runawsy kids. So I'm for the most part I'm going to plan out time, materials and setup tine to make things to keep those in need warm next Cleveland winters. It likely will become an usual annual task for me. I lo e making pocket shawls and shawls for me and others as in Christmas gifts. Lol, then have 2 Temperature Blankets going.
