Coyotes live in our area and they are a danger to all the animals like rabbits, squirrels, and deer and decimate a herd of sheep, kill calves, and even pets. In Kentucky coyotes are legal to hunt year round day or night. No limits. Very little equipment restrictions. That tells you how much of a problem they are. Near my farm it is foxes.

What people dont understand is why...??? Coyotes are invasive and will wreak havock on small game and deer as a pack has no problem taking down big game. Not only that but they decimate the fawns... Once they eat all the prey they often times start eating pets and livestock.... Unlike wolves who only produce pups according to habitat conditions - coyotes breed like rodents and sickness and disease often takes its toll...... Coyotes will also decimate your local deer, rabbit, and bird populations. When hunters help maintain the populations of predators in their environment, they give a chance for other keystone species to thrive. Many species would be extinct today if we did not hunt these predators.

They’re definitely running some type of buckshot based on how hard these things are getting smacked. If I had to guess probably just a modified choke they aren’t shooting very far and their is nothing sticking out of the end of their gun

In most places, your shotgun is allowed to contain only three rounds when hunting, and in the case of guns with a tubular magazine, a plug must be inserted to reduce capacity to two, plus one in the chamber. This restriction does not apply to target or tactical shooting. These rules were created with birding in mind, to prevent panicked salvos from crippling too many birds. @@Jack-Justice69692 Wrong both times. Most shotgun shells are still made with lead pellets or slugs and the only exception is shells made specifically for waterfowling. This is to prevent the birds from ingesting the pellets and poisoning themselves. The science behind this claim is shaky (most progressive science is) and upland game hunting, including ground birds, is not subject to this restriction at all. And steel shot is significantly MORE expensive than lead shot, despite lead being more effective by far. The exotic nontoxics that mimic the weight of lead can run you a hundred bucks for a box of 25. And I assure you, the shotguns the police carry are loaded with lead.
