It’s a great show and you did an excellent job covering it. If you watch it all back to back, there’s one episode from Justice League Unlimited that you will want to watch as it ties Batman beyond up nicely and serves as a proper finale . That’s episode is called epilogue

The discs in the standard release come out a lot easier (and look better in my opinion). I just hate when the disc hubs are either too tight, or not tight enough!

I remember an episode where Batman defeated The Joker's and it started with him getting into The Joker's head but I forget if it was The Adventures of Batman and Robin, Batman: The Animated Series or Batman Beyond

Great review! Not to toot my horn, but I actually designed this box set=) I was also heavily involved in building the original Animated Series box set AND the upcoming Blu-ray set that comes out this Tuesday. I'm excited for it to hit the shelves and get it out to the fans!

Beautiful boxset gutted never picked this up, I'm from the UK & for some reason they renamed it Batman of the Future which never got & also WB have never sold this in the UK so the only way you can get it is by importing but luckily it is region free but it is a shame WB always forgot to give us in the UK these shows. Great video Sean also you should check out the soundtrack for this show it's really good

When I was a kid I preferred this show and The New Batman Adventures over Batman: The Animated Series. Also, they kind of continued Batman Beyond in comics, but it’s kinda messy because they integrated it into the DC Comics universe. Also, you should check out the crossover episodes of Batman Beyond, specifically the Justice League Unlimited Season 2 finale as it serves as a series finale to Batman Beyond.

James Lawner Some of the character redesigns they did for that season always bothered me. I know the reason behind it was to match up the art style to Superman TAS but the new design of The Joker just looks.....weird.

I'm confused about the 11 episodes that were just upscaled on the blu ray version. Are they not altered on the dvd version??

No, and they won't be altered on the Blu-ray either. They simply didn't have source material for those episodes that was in suitable condition for the Blu-ray, so they went with the SD masters of those episodes used for the DVDs.
