I love what good care you take of your things. And I love that you keep things for years and years. I see so many youtubers preaching sustainability and vintage but they are always replacing their whole wardrobe, so even though it’s recycling clothing, it still comes across to me as wasteful. It doesn’t bother me when people have a lot of things when they clearly love them, use them, and care for them as you do. I think space does help in that endeavor. I am moving house and have a chance to reorganize my wardrobe and this is good inspiration. Having the right storage is key. Thank you.

I love that Trinity keeps her beautiful things even if not used for a while. It’s the trend now, here in North America, to get rid of everything you haven’t used in a year or two. I’ve just moved and downsized... have to be very creative organizing my 2 closets. Very glad I kept my favourite pieces; had to let go of lots, though. The well made classics really are standing out, will freshen up everything for coming season looks with a few nice easy pieces in current trendy colouring. Love the video!

I try to pull together a few outfits for the week as well so that I don't spend time with my thumb in my mouth first thing in the morning. I go to Pinterest, or Google items I have and then add the words "street style" in the search bar, however, by far, my favourite thing is to watch you tubers like you for style inspiration! I was searching for ideas on closet fresheners. One I'm going to try is this. Use a dry empty jam jar and put holes in the lid. Fill the jar with cotton wool balls soaked in essential oils. that's it! I can't wait to try it!

Some specialty shoe polishes may be suitable for bags, but the most readily available polishes may be horrendous for leather and the clothing they rub up against.

I’m wondering if I am trinny’s long lost little sister - I’ve organized my closet exactly the same way since I was 15 (23 years ago). I can’t afford the fancy coat hangers so have same size plastic ones purchased over the years in many colors and I even order the empty hangers by the rainbow! I don’t feel as much of a freak now :-)

Amazon US doesn’t seem to carry the Huggable brand. I’ve searched over and over, and all they have are those cheap Chinese ones, which really can’t handle anything heavier than a silk blouse. I ended up putting many things on padded or plastic coat hangers instead.

Are these videos originally made for Instagram? If not; all you need to do is turn the phone around and film with it horizontally; then you will fill the KZbin screen, rather than just a third of the screen; which would make for a much more pleasurable viewing experience. Just saying.

I know it sounds mad but i feel like it could be organised even better than that. Like putting your every day handbags with the stuff you take out of your handbag/ sunglasses etc. Putting your sweatpants with your workout gear or sweat tops/tshirts/whatever you would wear them with.

Yes!! I have always had an organised wardrobe, but I did the KONMARI thing a year ago and now my closet is a thing to behold!! I literally feel like I am shopping my closet everyday. So much of what you demonstrated in this video resonates with me. I like the tip about fragrance and I will look into adding something to make my wardrobe smell nice and inspiring when I open my cupboard doors!! I keep old perfume bottles in my lingerie draw but I think something fresh and awakening for the morning ritual is a nice touch. I would like to see more wardrobe management ideas from you. Love how organised you are.

I just organised my wardrobe and I'm shocked! I hate that the doctor put me back on pregabalin for pain as it always makes me gain weight. Now 3/4 of my wardrobe doesn't fit me 😥. I'm also menopausal aswell I don't know if that's a factor?. I've cut most of the sugar out of my diet too and only have one sweet snack a day. Should I worry or just see it as an opportunity to buy some new clothes? 😲. Just thinking out loud here. Please tell me I'm not the only one lol.

Silly question perhaps, but I’m a Californian who’s lived for decades in Paris and still hasn’t figured out how to stay warm in the winter without piling on sweaters and coats and waddling out like a sausage!

Thermal layers underneath. Merino wool is great, but there are really pleasant-feeling synthetic options, too. Uniqlo's heat tech, for instance. (Thermal) tights underneath trousers are great, too.

Since I have seen this video I have been obsessed with organizing my wardrobe. Two weeks later I have all my shirts on the same hangers, organized by colour, and all the jumpers are now folded, by colour and type. The suits are also on the same hangers (not the same as the shirts' ones) and organized by colour. Tights are put in little boxes, and I even managed to add led lights that you can USB charge. Thanks a million Trinny for being such an inspiration 😘
