Loose (and light colored) clothing is best for avoiding mosquitoes...I have gotten bitten through leggings every time because it really prevents you from feeling them on your legs... enjoy your trip!

Dark blue/navy is not recommended for some safari locations as those colours are known to attract Tstese flies in particular and also mosquitoes

I love how you pack your suitcase! I will never fold my clothing again when I make my suitcase because it takes up so less space, the way you do it! One tip though, stuff your boots with things as well. Saves a lot of room.

I’m always conscious of weight allowances as well as case and cabin bag sizes! I make a list of what I want to take, and then weigh the case when it’s packed to make sure I don’t go over😂😂😂

Just take black ankle boots instead of the cowboys, they’re smaller and lighter. I think the leggings under the dresses looks great and is practical. Maybe those lightweight, bendable sock booties. All you need for riding is a low heel.

Yes, even though it's convenient to have all your cables on the top of your luggage, I actually got held up at security one time because a mess of wires apparently makes it difficult to see what's underneath them in the x-ray scanner - I move them out again for in-flight convenience after I've passed through security checks now.

I would head to the camping store and get some breathable, lightweight pants and long sleeve shirts. You need a hat with a mosquito net attached. There is nothing worse than someone without the gear. I have dumped boyfriends over it. Be prepared to hand wash a few items to save on packing. Get a goretex jacket and wear it over a fleece on the plane. Bring a Buff to cover your neck or use as a hairband. As for fashion, you are now Intrepid Outdoors Woman who walks among elephants and lions and not a London fashion girl

The Zara cotton combo is lovely and versatile. I think you can keep that collar as it is cut just right, doesn't look like it is fighting with anything, but would still look good if you changed your mind and made it mandarin.
