Im a new home owner and I was trying to figure out how to juggle everything and I stumbled upon your videos and I must say that you are sooo inspirational that its ridiculous!!!! You have spurred me on to be super excited about being a good steward of my home, finances, and fellowship through organization, couponing, and hosting. This is the most neat looking plate and utensil storage room I've ever seen. Denise you should put Gates on the shelves so that nothing will fall out. I've seen some shelf units for closets that have Gates on them for purses. It's just an extended bar to enclose everything. Like a tailgate for a truck.

FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! Denise I am in awe of your entertainment closet! My hubby is running out of the room as I am watching this because he know that I am about to have him to build me another closet......LOL!!! I love EVERYTHING that you did! I need to come and shop at some of your flea market stores to get some great things at great prices too! I am absolutely in LOVE with your beautiful pieces and display!!!!! Tell your hubby, he did a wonderful job with the shelves. Looks more like an elegant store display than a closet. I always love watching your videos because, we have similar taste. In this video, I have the same huge white tray with the red trim (I got mine from Ross for $11.99 about two months ago), and have pieces from the hammered look stainless collection (Home Goods). I'm in the process of working on my craft room, and this is great inspiration for my closet. I also love that you used the shoe rack to house your linens, smart idea. Did I mention that I love everything, I can go on and on. Kudos...

I'm with you on those wire closet shelves..I hate them with a passion and as soon as the home remodeling contractor is finished across the street with a hugh project, I'm going to get him to come in and give me a proposal on how much he will charge and maybe he can offer me some better suggestions. He works alone, and works a full 8-10 hours, unsupervised..The home owners that he is working for now, he has done a lot of work for them in another one of their homes and they highly recommend him. This is what we need..We have floor to ceiling sliding closet doors(1977 builder model) that I want replaced throughout our house. I have a hugh wall to wall cabinet we buildt when we moved here 9 years ago. We moved from a large home and downsized and even though we got rid of so much before moving, we are short storage space, compared to our other home we had for 27 years. I want him to add more shelves in that garage cabinet that cover almost an entire wall of the garage. We made the shelves as wide as the cabinet(depth wise)but find out now, that is not working well. It's a lot of wasted space between shelves and they are made of MDF or plywood. This cabinet will be here when we are dead and gone and still longer! When my husband builds, he builds for eternity! Unfortunately he is not physically able to do any handyman projects anymore but we still have all the power tools and I want to learn to use them this coming Spring and Summer. I love a lot of your ideas and they have inspired me today to start making out a list of projects to work on in 2015. I stopped using coupons for groceries, etc. after we downsized but I need to start back again and I learned a lot watching your video. I don't believe in stockpiling unless you can use it up before it expires. We are only 2 Sr. Citizens and I do try to buy extra stuff that I know I use all the time. Mostly cleaning products, paper products(toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues, foil and etc.)Laundry products..I have to do laundry every day for my husband. Stocking up on these items can save me time going shopping as well as money.. I am the only driver now and I think more about the cost of gasoline spent when we used to "joy ride" whenever. I try to make all my errands in same local to save gas. We rarely go shopping for clothes because we don't go anywhere but to church, to Drs. grocery stores anymore. My goal for 2015 is to plan my meals ahead of time and make my grocery list according to what I need for each meal..Hopefully if I plan and stick to that planned meal, it will cut down on our grocery bill and start back using coupons. After 50 years of marriage and downsizing our home, we are trying to "weed out" what we think we don't use anymore or don't need it taking up storage space. With my being ADD/ADHD, I have a tendency to be sort of unorganized at time. I am aware of this disability and am constantly working on trying to declutter and become more organized.
