This video was SO satisfying! I love how curated your clothing pieces are and how you're able to look so put together with so few pieces. That just goes to show that sticking to a neutral colour palette and purchasing classic, quality items really amplifies what you can do with your wardrobe.

I like how all pieces are purposefully selected, the 1 in 1 out rule, and searching for better quality 2nd hand. You're covered for all events that I would attend although I would highly tempted to add additional pieces to fill the gap between your street and formal wear. When you need to step it up for an event or work but a suit and black oxfords would be over the top. Here's some options to consider. - 2-3 sport coats for each season. Unlined /minimal structure silk, Lenin, light wools for S/S. Corduroy, moleskin, donegal, tweed for F/W. - 2 pair of corduroy and/or moleskin pants. 5 pocket or chino pocket style. - 2-3 dress shirts in a Lenin or basket weave (buttoned or pop-over). - 2 dress shirts (1 light blue, 1 ecru or off white). - 2-3 LS polos (pair w or w/o suit/SC) - 2-3 turtlenecks ( pair w/ suit/SC/casual jacket i.e. Harrington, bomber, and any outerwear already owned) - 1 brown, 1 burgundy /oxblood dress shoe. - 2-3 pairs of loafers brown, oxblood, suede. - 1 additional casual boot (either plain or cap toe, lace up, a more structured chukka)

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion

Z Dangor me too. I counted his hangers, 21, and now I have hanger envy. I had a colour and style consultations which reduced my colour palette to what best suited me, and I created, and update, 'uniforms' of silhouettes that I love. Denim for house and yard work. Linen shirts for home days. Tunics for out and about. 1940-50's inspired outfits for going out. I read an interview of a woman that worked in the denim industry and she only had 3 pair of jeans. When she got a new pair for going out she repurposed the previous one to have for out and about, and the previous ones became the house and home pair. I can't remember what she did with the previous house pair...donated I imagine. So I do that with my tops and bottoms but I tend to wear my bottoms out so I can't donate them like I do my tops. As they say quality over quantity, first and foremost. I have 55 hangers on my 1.1 meter clothes rod, and 5 'droors'. I have 4 categories of hanging clothes...house shirts pants dressier shirts and tops -> dresses and cardigans/coats...with 13 hangers for each category plus 3 spares. I live an informal life in the tropics so the dresses, coats and cardigans are seldom worn but the rest is in use for most of the year. I may just give 5 categories of 8 hangers a go after watching this clip. #wardrobewisdom #thestruggleisreal #fibonacci0112358132134

very nice man. much anticipated. love the insight into the small things, confirming good palette choices, and hearing the ever important basic shirt formula. hueguh is a 2 white 2 navy 4 grey man. i myself dig the olive, heather grey and black, and skip out the white. polos are pretty interesting, too. getting into those - big brother of shirts, not as formal as an oxford. live in a hot country, anyway. i've spent way too much money on uniqlo basic tees (believe it) only to have to bump up to an L so it's kinda frustrating. i still take your advice about bringing in newer, eccentric colors in the form of t-shirts since it's easy and low cost investment to try switch it up now and again. a cool thing i've been doing lately is using color harmony apps on my phone, taking photos of the color of an item and seeing complementary colors, triads, pentagons; just different ways to see what works with the outfit, and confirm that indeed, blue, tan, and even cyan/dark green complement asian skin color (and any other skin color, i'd say, for that matter, beige to tannish.) those beige, brown, tan tones, light blue, navy blue, grey... neutral colours. recently picked up a brown basic tee and a polo with a little bit more detail to spice up the basic wardrobe, gonna keep in mind the 1 in 1 out thing, and feel pretty happy i dont have to deal with fall and winter
