In April 2015, Kyoto Kokoro Initiative was launched with support from the Inamori Foundation. Focusing on “kokoro” that faces many complicated problems today and valuing the richness and the deep nuance included in Japanese word “kokoro,” we will hold discussions from various perspectives.
Through this attempt, we are working on to obtain a new understanding about “kokoro” that forms the base of Japanese traditional culture and also becomes the source of our way of life, moreover, to find guiding principle heading for a global society that will nurture “kokoro.”
