I, too, struggle with using the inserts, a lot of the time, they are not for me but I like your idea of looking at the formatting and repurposing them. Maybe I'll use to have as a perpetual calendar where I can keep all birthdays in one spot to transfer them into my planner for years to come.

Happy holiday weekend Elizabeth! I am actually about to place my C&P subscription order. I held off because I didn't need the Executive Planner. You can try Fancy Plans Co. for the 2023 vellum. As for the top tab divider, if you wanted additional vertical tabs, maybe put them at the bottom. I do like that green pen as well. Regarding journal cards, some I've kept especially if they contained a really good affirmation. Others, I've gifted to planner friends.

Agree with you on all points. I got this box for the planner. I prefer this layout over there vertical layout. And I won't use the stickers either. I purchased some extras to go with it as well!

That’s where I landed when I got it a couple years back! Just didn’t have a use for it. I love this layout, so I’m determined it’s useful for something in my life!

I appreciate your unboxing videos, especially since you seem to have a very similar taste as I do. Like I'm still struggling to figure out what to do with all these journaling cards. On another note, have you ever checked out Agendio? I spent hours and hours and hours customizing and planning out my ideal planner inserts, I wonder if you might like that too or if you prefer the more pre-set planners.

Hello!! Thanks for the comment, I have a lot of fun doing unboxings and first impressions so its great to hear ya'll do too! I do a lot of customizing of existing layout planners, it's a fun challenge for me! I haven't used Agendio or Plum Paper, where there's lots of customization....but it's a great idea though and I probably should! Orrrrrrrrr some day design my own perfect planner....*sigh* a girl can dream!

@@thejoyfulsojourn Hah, yes - I spent some time putting together my ideal design in Excel with the idea of maybe printing my own. I tried it out but didn't like the print quality, realized how much I'd have to spend on ink and finding the right paper, and decided to just go with Agendio for now :D It brought me like 95% of the way to where I want so that's good enough for now, and maybe someday I'll get the time/motivation/funds to really invest in making my own. Fun to think about, anyway.
