I use too drink a bottle of vodka every day. I tried and tried to quit. I finely got on my knees and told LORD JESUS I cannot quit, and I am giving it to HIM.And praise GOD HE SET ME FREE. I drank every day for over 25 years, and HE took it all away. I did not even have withdrawls.THAT IS WHAT MY LORD JESUS AND SO MUCH MORE HAS DONE FOR ME, just give it to HIM. Quit trying to do it yourself. Surrender everything to HIM... PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FOREVER.

My heart is cut and my soul is full of sorrow for I who call myself a follower of the Way have neglected the path of the Narrow Road. But thanks be to God for His Goodness and Mercy by His Great Love is disciplining me back into His fold and back on to the Path of the narrow Road. The spirit of God works through ordinary men to do extraordinary things. Paul Washer, an ordinary man is being used by God to speak His Word boldly like a dying man to dying generation. Jesus is coming soon, and when He gets here, and if I’m still alive I hope He finds me faithful fully clothed in the full armor of God. To God be the Glory. Amen.

Absolutly great preaching, I try to listen in multiple times a week. I pray that I can find someone like Paul Washer that I could regularly correspond with, exchange ideas etc. I have always loved the holyness of God and his autonomy, doing the will of the father and living the fruits of the spirit. Understanding that we are not justified accept through christ, it is up to Christ alone to justify us and Christ has total autonomy. We do not have to worry, christ will either say he knows us or he doesnt. I have asked friends and family if I display fruit and have gotten back favorable feed back, however, at the end of the day it is christ who decides when we meet him and I hope that he knows me in that day.

Rebuking, Rebuking, Admonishing one another is lacking in our daily Christian life. I support Paul Washer for courageously doing it. God's convicted him with the Holy Spirit to tell the truth to the lukewarm, shallow faith, pretentious believers. They're, in fact, not believers. They're still heathens. Let's not remain useless believers. Instead, go out and save souls anytime we should. Our faith needs to bear fruits. Otherwise Jesus will cut us off from his vine.

@meme-dy2fw9 жыл бұрын
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. "Of sin because they do not believe in Me". "Of Judgement, because the ruler of this world is judged" First and foremost the Bible is clear. Let God be true and every man a liar. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and it takes the Grace of God and Him giving the Spirit of truth to accept Christ. Paul washer does not convict people of sin, it is the Holy Spirit that does. The law brings out sin. Read Romans. The flesh is weak. Read Romans. Sin dwells within the flesh, from every man born after Adam. Read Romans. Why do people admire a style of preaching that brings the already fallen human down?! It is actually "the goodness of God" that leads people to repentance... which part of this video reminds us of the goodness of God to go along with repenting?
@Soaptivated8 жыл бұрын
me me... "It is actually "the goodness of God" that leads people to repentance... " To repent of their goodness?? A man must first know he's a sinner, through the preaching of the Word, through the power and CONVICTION of the Holy Spirit, as the Great Convictor of sin, not just the HS as the Great Comforter. "For whom the Lord loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights." PR 3: 12. For if a man does not acknowledge he's a sinner, he sees no need for a Savior. Read verse 8 again. "And when He has come, He will *convict* the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me*...

Paul Washer doesn't dilute or water down Jesus teaching. That is very rare and uncommon with most and worldly preachers. Many preachers are running for a popularity contest with congregations. They're still very materialistic and don't know God's will. They're not anointed with the Holy Spirit, either. That's why their preaching is weak and pleasing men. Do you support them? Do you need them? I'd rather listen to preachers who go straight to the point and teach the truth. Jesus spoke the truth without meddling and being obscure. He often rebuked and even woed the hypocrites.

Remember that I said I like Paul and appreciate his ministry, so my purpose is not to bash him, but to admonish you all not to be followers of men. Your redemption is by faith in the Word of God and Jesus said as plainly as He could, "IF you ABIDE IN MY WORD, then you are TRULY MY disciples and you shall know the truth and the Truth shall make you free." The reason that isn't emphasized to you guys is that it flies in the face of "eternal security" and Baptist preachers don't want you thinking.

Or, if you wholeheartedly embrace the promises of God, remembering the tender love of the Lord when He called you, and decide that you're going to BELIEVE AND BE "CONVERTED AND BECOME AS A LITTLE CHILD" then you can enter in immediately... of course, not without the Word. The Word of God must become your chief treasure and you must decide that you'll believe HIS WORD if EVERYONE DISAGREES WITH IT. This will please Him and help you get prepared

Yes, "all things are yours" (1Cor3:21-23) but through faith and patience we inherit the promises (Heb 6:12). Yes, some promises come quickly and easily in faith and some we get to stand in faith for a long time. Everything isn't easy, but knowing the love of God and believing His promises, it's the best way

14 Lying is wrong, even if you are a Baptist. My point is plain to honest folk. Eternal life is the life of God and it lasts forever but by grace, through faith, we HAVE IT NOW and that means we have fellowship with Him and "For as many as may be the promises of God, in Him they are yes; wherefore also by Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us." (2Co 1:20 NASB) It's a glorious revelation to learn that GOD IS BETTER ANYONE EVER TOLD YOU! No description ever did Him justice!
