Clothes I wore for a week's holiday in Turkey. Petite, size medium, age 59!

I have recently been on holiday to Turkey for a week and these are the clothes that worked well and some that didn't.

I find wearing shorts a nightmare. They always ride up in the middle of my legs when im walking!! 😮

Your holiday outfits looked great Rhi. I bought the green trousers and t-shirt from M&S too. They are very light and comfortable. Loved the jumpsuit and yellow/white dress on you. I cannot imagine coming face to face with a wild boar....terrifying😱

Hi Rhian, thank you for the pictures, looks lovely, never been but worth putting on my wish list. I loved all the outfits but the two dresses from Stylewe were just lovely for a hot summer holiday. Never been to Turkey, it looks lovely Rhi. Trying clothes on is not like wearing them for a day, shame about the shorts. Not going on holiday till September in UK. Will probably need overcoat and boots! Congratulations on your rising subs. The photos of you look great. Glad you enjoyed the break. X❤

Hi Rhian, Your photos are lovely. You really suited all the clothes you took with you. Good choices. I recently updated my packing cubes to compression ones as my old set was pretty tatty. I would definitely recommend them as you get so much more in them. They cost a bit more, but if you’re someone like me who usually travels with only a carry on rucksack, they’re invaluable. 😃

I did exactly the same as you a month ago I took 2 long sleeved shirts as cover ups I didn’t wear either for the same reason as you…just too hot' Lesson learnt as you say they take up quite a bit of room. I love Turkey I go to Lara Beach, Antalya quite a bit. Your dresses looked lovely. Xx

Hi Rhian Wow a sunny holiday. The temperature was way too hot I think. . The heat is different there than here. The dress with pleats is in fashion now. I would love to have a dress with pleats in it. But have ordered on in Navy as black I look insipid being paler complexion . I bought a red top from new look with a high neckline and a strapping back so I am on the lookout for a skirt to go with the red top. I don’t mind if it’s plain or a pattern going through it. Any way am pleased that you had a nice holiday. Have a nice weekend and see you on the next one xx

I’ve used packing cubes for years. Yes they are so useful. Pleased you had a good holiday. Clothes looked nice. I like the multi jumpsuit, but I would have preferred it with a V neck, cooler for summer. You got a good buy at the charity shop with the blue dress.

Very interesting as have been to olu deniz several times. My daughter got married there. I didn’t recognise the hotel, we stayed near the beach and then in Hisaranu another time. I loved all your dresses. I don’t wear shorts but I have long skirts or thin trousers.
