One of my best New York experience hands down was sitting on those Met steps like they did in Gossip Girl!!! It was freezing and I couldn't feel my butt and a Mongolian guy sat next to me and started talking about the Korean War and there were pigeons everywhere but I still got my photo (and a hot dog!) and had the BEST.DAY.EVER!
