I miss how they entered, which is through the non franchise, promotion method, which always gave u that pie in the sky, I and some other people can potentially play our way to the top feeling. :P Now u have to have Riot decide not to renew a franchise and choose to let u pay for a franchise license. I like the other method. Always seemed to me that the people who came in through promotion would just shoot off like a rocket.

This C9 Team is the reason that brought me into playing league still to this day and Hai always was such a big inspiration. He is just such a big brain player but also doesnt dissapoint with his skills. They brought me into league, watching ESports and made me become a C9 fan still to this day. True. Balls Rumble and Hai’s Zed were beastly back then and both champs were meta. Meteos was good on Zac and in the bot lane Sneaky + Lemon were solid and could hold their own. That C9 roster were the only one that felt like they could compete internationally. Hai really held C9 together. He wasn’t the best mechanically but he was a great shotcaller. Sad to see such a good player forced to retire at their peak cause of health.

I mean to be fair c9 did take out the last Korean team at a world's event that's some damage. TL did take out ig at a tournament where if looked going into that match the best team in the world and it wasn't that close. That's so damage.

Wow, what a blast from the past. It's crazy to think how LoL shaped my journey to today. Discovering the game at PAX 2010 when I got a Pax Jax skin and only installed the game to check out what the code was for, I ended up hooked for many years. I was lucky to attend the NA Finals at PAX one year and meet the players (+ran into some of them at gameworks). The C9 roster was very outgoing with their fans and not only did the smile/wave but actually took time to chat with us and connect. My smile lit up like a christmas tree when they asked to see my tattoo (barely visible under my shirt sleeve) and it's great to see "the band coming back together", metaphorically speaking. I don't really follow LoL anymore but this roster has always held a special spot in my heart.

That being said I can very well see them get to semis again if they do get an easier group and the FNC 2018 treatment for playoffs.

First off, this was amazing. The TSM - C9 rivalry is one of the greatest in LoL history and getting to see a current patch match against the OG players was a brilliant idea. You can definitely see that some of them have taken time off (Xpecial you get a pass) and that some are still current LCS players (Meteos + Sneaky were popping OFF, but let's be honest... I've seen Silver players hit more skillshots than WildTurtle did this game) Love you Turtle but that was some abysmal ezreal gameplay my man

Pop off vs do nothing is a LOT better than what Zven gave TSM. Luckily for C9, Zven decided to take his head out of his ass and actually play League when he joined the roster. After watching Zven Arcane Shift 1v5 into the enemy team and lose TSM game after game after Summer Split Final G5 game, I was honestly worried for C9 when they picked him up.

Lethality is flat armour pen (ie duskblade ignores 21 armour at level 18, regardless of how much armour the enemy has) while the armour pen effect (like on LDR and mortal reminder) is % pen. So yes armour counters lethality but what he’s saying is the two lethality items basically ignores the gauntlets armour
