Came looking on KZbin for Zhou xun/cloud atlas related stuff. Really couldn't fin much which made me sad. She exceptionally huge in China right now probably every Asian person was very proud of her to be finally be signed into an American film. Sad she didn't get much recognition, but who gives a damn, she made it to the American big screen!

Donna Bae was brilliant! I absolutely love this movie!! Went to see it again, wasn't playing because of Twilight part 2! Needless to say they got a ear full from me lol. People who don't get this movie are people I choose not to associate myself with. They are the same people who didn't get Inception which was another brilliant movie. Problem with many movie goers these days is they are stuck in this instant gratification mindset. I choose to engage my brain before it becomes a vegetable.

it's sad that someone who's into Kurosawa would dismiss something sort of experimental as Cloud Atlas and describe it as "most stupidiest." There's a lot more ways to appreciating a film than just being convinced. people might want to know why do you qualify it as "most stupidiest" of the year, what is the best of the year for you, because Cloud Atlas as the "most stupidiest" this year just doesn't CONVINCE us.

the different change of time and location almost every 5 minutes was annoying,the language was annoying with communication gaps...I along with many walked out of the cinema, and I am glad

oh well, not the movie for you, and for other who would walk out as if every scene should satisfy them and meet their expectations and work for their comfort. I think the movie's languages follow those in the book,accent and tone differ from each story. and as the directors have said, they want to make movies where the viewers just don't shut down once they're in the cinema, they want an active and not passive movie experience. probably most of those who walked out didn't like to be challenged.
