I like how they didn't even question how Cloud their leader defeated rouche that is in SOLDIER units. The troops really have faith in their captain

The new President announces a visit and suddenly we get a new captain with mako eyes armed with a giant sword. Of course, he's a SOLDIER plant on bodyguard duty! You'd think the President of Shinra would feel safe with that nutcase with a bike as the only SOLDIER around?

I think this was just normal Trooper Cloud personality. Cloud seem less like he is trying to be Zack here and just being himself back in the day when he was a Trooper.

I have to give Heidegger points: In the “Remake”; he came off a bit as a reckless blowhard (ignoring sensible suggestions from his subordinates & growing angry when things didn’t work out). …but here, the man quite literally took a shuriken to the back for Rufus. He didn’t even hesitate. The man is loyal to a fault.

I like every NPC in FFVII Remake. It likes they have their own personalities and attitudes yet their dialogues looks unique even interesting especially for the Shinra Soldiers to Cloud

I found it funny that most people aren't able to lift the Buster sword due to how heavy it is, but that Shinra troop just handed it over to Cloud like it was nothing

Im pretty sure anyone can hold it in FF7. The only time i saw it being depicted as heavy was the non-cannon Zack anime, but even then, that was because zack shoved the sword deep into the ground, and the troops were struggling to pull it out.

Best part about having your soldier bros? You get to heal them. I was honestly worried it was going to be one of segments in a game where you have the means to do something, but just simply can’t for whatever dumb reason.

I have a feeling we'll see them a lot more in Part 3, theres three key places they can show up, Highwind, Submarine, and return to Midgar.
