As a cloud engineer for many years I will tell you that the job title says cloud but the requirements say development. These scummy companies don’t want to hire one person for one job they want to hire one person and give them 3 jobs and replace them when they are burned out.

2024 is not a good year for cloud because many companies now expect devs to understand cloud. Cloud knowledge alone as a beginner wont cut it.

Cloud Developer may be good until that gets saturated. Then there may be no way to break in. Time to get that CDL license.

Uncle Stef, I just got my first job in Tech but main responsibilities is maintaining website and SEO optimization for customers. So I'm not sure it's still good path to start career in development field. Should I go for Frontend or something fully development responsibility?

Back end is actually easier to find work! You’ll be fine if you are persistent and consistent.
