You were so correct, I remember reading this back when this song was posted.

It's like a beautiful blend of their self-titled album and Attack on Memory with a subtle departure from them both.

The lyrics reflect on our experience as only our own and the existence of other people is only a perception. Would they exist if we didn't?

I swear Dylan Baldi's singing style changes a little every album. Not that it's worse or better, it's just interesting to see Cloud Nothings change over time.

All I really notice is that he is a late-bloomer and his voice has gotten less "twee," which is a welcomed evolution.

When I get high it feels like I can travel back in time. My most recent “travel back” was to the house I lived in when I was 16. I remember the late cold December nights when the house was silent. After I turned off the TV & before I headed upstairs I would sit on the couch & just gaze into the twinkly lights on the christmas tree infront of me. I could feel the fabric of the couch & the ridges for the pattern, the way the light gleamed on the wall behind it & the curtains. I could feel the cushion behind my head. And it was like I was there again. It’s crazy the amount of memories that get stored in a less important box

It is good, but I miss the rawness of the Albini production, and his urgent vocals from AoM. This seems more relaxed and chill despite the upbeat energy, if that makes sense. I still can't wait though, Cloud Nothings was one of the best surprises of the last few years.

@deathtokoalas it's deff a more melodic pop like album, but it doesn't effect the grit too much. the first 4 songs are super hard, just lie attack on memory

I try and I try and I try and I just cannot understand this band. What is going on guys? It sounds like Blink 182 on steroids or anything from the Angus film soundtrack. Does nobody else hear that? Wth is going on? I just don't get it. Terrible terrible sound. Or am I getting too old that all of their fans were too young to remember that terrible period of the late 90s in American rock that looks like Cloud Nothings are trying to revive.
