This is very explanatory and an eye opener. I understand that the Kubernetes engine give a lot of advantages to GCP, no wonder a few organizations are more comfortable with with them. However the opportunities in AWS is huge, and Microsoft understanding of Enterprise softwares cannot be overemphasized. Well done team A Cloud Guru. Any subscription discount available to take the GCP & Azure training with you?

Nice overview. Although I understand (and somewhat agree with) your advice to stick with a single provider, I missed the obvious conclusion: finding a “common denominator” for going cross-cloud is really hard. Their architectures are so incompatible that even “generic” tools like packer and terraform have completely different keywords in use when writing the configuration. A packer config for building an image in GCE is useless when you try to do the same on AWS, apart from the actual scripting inside the VM. Tools that _do_ try have to restrict themselves in what you can tweak, to the point of uselessness, unless provided with lots of separate (cloud-specific) configuration.

The 2 problems I see with Azure is Microsoft's licensing of IAS makes it cheaper not to use Azure services and just move VM's over where the customer manages the OS. Azure lacks reliability regions and has had several outages. AWS is still ahead as a result. Copilot may in the near future change things but all the cool custom hardware for AI is only available on AWS including quantum chips. Very cloud features like paas and reliability AWS is still king

Name one service which was close on GCP, not by Google, because this are two different selling models for different customers. And talking about past, or how is on which platform is waste of time, because if Netflix would selecting cloud provider today, they could select different. For me most important are what service they giving and if others have alternatives. AWS S3 and Google Storage, similar, but Google BigQuery, Firebase, and many more?

I am a windows admin so, I just love Azure... I also think many customer who has existing windows environment would prefer to go to Azure as it is also Microsoft managed product...

Why is the azure courses in a cloud guru/linux academy so very outdated? Like the AZ-400, AZ-500, AZ-303 & AZ-304 courses, why doesn't reflect the recent changes on the exams. Is a cloud guru/linux academy just more focus on aws? Tnanks
