@livelaughloath I was there making these kinda beats in 2013, mainly the 808 sample is too newschool, needs more obnoxious hihat rolls, a different snare/clap and worse mixing (genuinely, none of us knew how to mix lmao) overall I like this beat a lot, replayed it a few times, just don't think it fits the 2012 theme

@@uh-andre i see the vision fam, this beat's hella good. it more reminds me of 2016 cloud rap. it's just the drum samples and the mixing, if you swapped them out and made the bass a bit overpowering this would 100% sound like sumn out of 2012. the clap, 808, hihats respectively.
