Lovely painting, sir! Nice to see the dogs. My daughter's got a red fox Lab! And he's a lovely fella, such a nice disposition, but he loves his belly - he thinks every bit of food or whatever is for him and he'll sit in front of you until you give in, and give him a bit, then it's big cuddles and licks to say 'thank you!

I am 76 years old and I lost my 32 years old son my psychologist recommended to do something to myself so I bought some acrylics and a lot of brushes and KZbin people look at them and they’re amazed what I did after seven or eight painting I really appreciate your sharing your hard work it is so beautiful I’m wondering if he was any medium which I usually don’t like as little as I know I am in California you do a beautiful job, I don’t have just found your KZbin,I’m having problems with blending together and I have to learn how to prepare the canvas more than I know now. It has really helped my soul for this big tragedy bless your heart again for sharing your hard work. Any advice I appreciate it. Regards Shawn😊

I’m so so sorry for your loss. Painting is a great help for soothing the mind! I don’t use any mediums, just water. As for preparing the canvas, if you buy a decent canvas you shouldn’t need to anything to it, apart from a pre stain. And for this I normally use raw sienna. All the very best.

Well yet another very fine instructional video. This one turned out very good indeed. My wife and I watched it the other night, that “digital art” and shadow treatment always wows us. I paint a little and it’s fun to watch that painting grow out of that background color. Thanks for posting, and yes, the banter between you two is fun too.

This is the first time I watched you paint in acrylics, and I learned so much just watching you. I started painting about 4 years ago, and acrylics was my first medium. I appreciate the clouds lesson and the shadows and picked up a lot on your color mixing for landscapes, which I love painting. I would love to order from you but not sure how much shipping would be to the USA. I also paint in watercolors and pencils, which I have done some of your WC pencils paintings. Your dogs are just beautiful but you already know that. I appreciate everything you do to help us be better artists.
@charlesevans770610 ай бұрын
I’m so pleased that you enjoy them. We do ship to the USA, but you are the most expensive on the planet. If you put an order in Gail will weigh it up and tell you the postage. And if it’s too much for you then she’ll just refund your order!

I've just found your channel and oh boy do i wish I'd found you sooner, absolutely wonderful! I've just taken up painting again after a 35 yr gap, used to paint in oil and water colour but now started to try acrylics, which I'm having a job getting the hang of but your tutorials are the best, I've just ordered your book from Amazon and have been looking at your website - will be placing an order very soon. I watched your tutorial of the racehorses on the beach, i worked with racehorses about 37 years ago and had a few horses of my own when i was younger. Your tutorial could be a painting of me and the girl i worked with on Kinmel Bay beach on winners Zio Pepino (Pepe) and Winter Words (Jerry - I'm sure my friend nick named him after Jerry the alien from the film Enemy Mine, she always called him squirt) All the very best from North Wales 🙂

Aloha Charlie, loved this one. Thank you! I have a tip for you. It's from my new book, "Glen's Top Tips". Ok, there is no book. I only have one tip. Oh, I suppose I could go ahead with the book - but it would be very short. Frankly, probably not worth the effort. Anyway, the tip is to use distilled water in your stay wet palette. Distilled water = no mold. 3 months? Easy. 6 months? No problem! The filament paper will break down long before any mold develops. Thanks again for sharing your time. I appreciate it!
