I use to think that as well. But she was the first of the “harem” to come clean about her feelings for Cloud and she was also the most welcoming and supportive because of it. Cloud who is standoffish and kind of cold developed a warmer soul because of her. She may not been the most important character to the overall story but she was important to Cloud.

If you played the ff7 og you should know about her ability as a cetra, because maybe she was talking to jessie’s soul about how dense cloud was when she was with him.

@@MrRainzinedine Haven't played the OG yet but if that's true then wouldn't that make it even worse ?? Cloud doesn't know about Aerith's Cetra powers, from his perspective she's just teasing him about his social awkwardness while he's trying to process his friend's death.
