The hips don't lie, but it's such a beautiful figure. Paint is wonderful. There's more than enough articulation to try out different posing ideas. For the price, I might have to stick to getting just my favorites. For whatever reason, these are much smaller than previous BringArts figures. So I'm hesitant to go all in. But as usual, another fantastic video 👏

I paid $90 for him, no NFT. 😬 Tifa on the other hand...she sold out long before her release date and I had to buy her second hand for $170. 🙃 But I totally get what you mean. $90 is still a lot for a figure that falls apart when you do what you're supposed to do with it... 🤐

Honestly, your missing links might be found in the KH or Dissidia Clouds. They're not FFVII figures, but they are between those sizes.

I have the Dissidia ones, but the link is still missing. 🤫 Maybe KH is the answer. One day I'll buckle and get the KH1 Cloud & Sephiroth figures. 😵‍💫

Finally someone who gets it, my one big gripe in the remake and other cloud figures is the lack of the diamond shape in the pants, some people like you said may not see it that way but as a kid it’s a huge detail that I loved and drew me in to the character and his design. It’s crucial and I’m beyond upset that they gave cloud parachute pants in the remake along with tiny little boots and not having them more of a brown hue. The price of the figure sucks because the lack of different heads or materia but I happily paid the price for a correct and true to character design figure

It's funny actually. When I was a kid I wanted to change parts of Cloud's design. I wanted both his hair and his armor to be more symetrical, I wanted his shoes to be smaller, I wanted him to cover up his arms and I even wanted his pants to be a more uniform shape. It was later that I realized I liked Cloud because he was exactly the way he was. His pants in Remake are terrible and I can't understand why they went along with that shape, not only for Cloud, but for all the soldiers. He does look noticeably better in Rebith though. From the the right angles they almost look diamond-like. 💎

What you are describing already exists. It's called the "Bring Arts Cloud Strife Another Form Variant" and it was released in 2019. It is literally this figure, but with his OG KH look. 😂

If you want to get them before the western release dates you have to buy them from Japan. 😄 I hate to say it, but I just checked Playasia and Amiami for you (my most frequent Japanese stores), and it seems like they both ran out of stock for this one very recently. I'm sorry. 😟

I hate to disappoint you, but for the time being I only collect official figures, specifically from the original and the remake trilogy. More specifically excluding Advent Children, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus and Kingdom Hearts. Thank you for asking though! 😁
