Wow, I'd be pissed if I were one of those guys. they put alot of work into that sketch! At least lately they've been more tolerant, I mean I got jumped by 3 Sith lords at megacon 2012. And last year there was a choreographed duel between Mace Windu and another Jedi that was awesome.

Great crowd participation there at the end. Great cosplay too, I'm usually intrigued by the costumes, but the acting usually inst all that good. But boy, choreography was spot on for these guys.

On the original video of this, with the people who were cloud and kudaj, they said that the lady thought it was a real fight because of how fast they were fighting and the police were polite to them. But it is sad that it was stopped.

I came in here just expecting to laugh at some geeks, but this fight was kinda cool. The outfits make the movements look really awesome. It's also very freaky at how much they resemble the characters when they move.

that was awesome, heaps better than some iv seen at manifest where the whole fight is in slow motion because they don't want to damage the weapons they spent months making. Foam swords is a fantastic idea

The fight looked totally awesome but seriously I can understand why they stopped it. People had to back up to stay out of their way, somebody definitely could have gotten hurt. If they had done this somewhere out in the open that would have been sick, we could have seen how it ended.

While this is true, it really depends on material of the weapons used. Foam deals minimal damage and a little knockback. While the knockback (if inflicted in a bad spot) could prove fatal, if you noticed they were fighting where almost nothing would have caused damage to any who would have been hit by one of the swords. All they'd do is fall back and land on the ground, which, as I know from experience... Doesn't hurt at all. If it was on top of the Escalator there it would be a different story.

Voulenteer staff a convention sometime (as security), and when you are the one who has to call the ambulance because when two con attendees were 'mock' fighting, one of them tripped over a table and busted their skull, you'll probably understand.

Ok, I'd like to say what's on my mind. It really did suck that they stopped the 'fight', i mean, it was awesome! Honestly, it wasn't dangerous, right? The swords look floppy a bit and it didn't seem to hurt anyone, especially the cosplayers themselves since they were hit. I got startled when a random guy ran near them... Stupid security, go stop an awesome fight... Or maybe it's the rules of a convention? I've never been to one... T^T
