Clouded Leopards' future in danger.

Mizoram is one of the states among Northeast India where it flourishes the enigmatic species called Clouded Leopard. counted as one of the most elusive species in the world as well as most threatened species surround by immense risks like illegal hunting and poaching for its pelts, and other body parts as well as habitat loss for which their home range are shrinking day by day leaving them no choice to move towards human habitation.
In last three years we have been identifying potential threats and various conservation strategies to give this species a better future and to retrieve their population in Mizoram. By involvement of local communities in various conservation programs we can spread awareness about the importance of this species in the state.
